A brace from James Dayton saw Crystal Palace continue their unbeaten pre-season as they beat Bodmin Town 4-1 tonight.

The Eagles were trailing 1-0 at half time but strikes from new signing Johannes Ertl and midfielder Carl Fletcher shortly after the break put Palace in front.

Dayton then took centre-stage with two strikes, his second and third goals of pre-season, to complete the victory.

Palace play Truro City in the third and final game of their tour of Cornwall on Friday.
